Let's shake things up...
The same Nerd vote, except with the following changes:
Any votes that attempt to be added after the Nerd vote must be considered. If the Nerd vote, in any manner, will cause the next voter's vote to split a tie that the Nerd vote causes, cancel the original Nerd vote altogether and instead vote for the lowest person regardless if this second condition violates any of the conditions listed in the original Nerd vote. If, however, the original Nerd vote would have voted for the lowest player in the first place, simply do not vote.

Small edit, if possible...
Let x represent how many votes the most voted-for character is leading by over the second most voted-for character. If 0<x<1, divide the Nerd vote in that x amount of votes go to the second-highest character while the remainder of the vote (1-x) is placed upon the third character. If, however, adding this remainder causes the third character to rise above the other two, only place as much of a vote that will set the third character's votes equal to the other two. Then, take the remainder of the Nerd vote and equally distribute it among the three characters.
